Stay safe during bed bug season!

Traveling this summer? Don't let bed bugs be the only thing you remember after taking a vacation. While you are out and about take these small steps to help prevent bed bugs from coming home with you.

-Check mattresses and box springs for signs of bed bug activity

-Keep your clothing & baggage off of the hotel floor and drawers. Use the luggage stand when possible.

-Once home run all of your clothing items through a high heat laundry cycle. All stages of bed bugs start dying from 115-120 F.

If you are out traveling and ever suspect any bed bug activity in a hotel room you are staying in contact the front desk immediately and ask for another room that DOES NOT share any walls with the room you found activity in.
